Students can only pursue one major in this program. Students can however pair their degree with a minor s as prescribed in the undergraduate degree calendar. A minor is an opportunity for a student to explore a secondary area of interest. Generally, a minor is made up of 6 courses concentrated in a specific area of undergraduate study.
Careful planning will allow you to use the courses in the minor as electives towards the undergraduate degree. Students are required to submit a formal Ryerson internal application to Undergraduate Admissions for consideration.
Students should consult with the Service Hub to confirm internal admissions requirements for their program of interest prior to submitting their application. A Plan Change form can only be used to switch between the regular program and the Co-op Option. Switching to a program outside of Business Technology Management requires an application via undergraduate admissions. An application fee will apply.
Your status as a full-time degree or part-time degree student is not dependent on your course load. If you were admitted as full or part time, you remain as such regardless of course enrollment each semester. Changing from full time to part time or visa versa requires an application through admissions.
Course load, however, may impact OSAP funding eligibility. As a Business Technology Management undergraduate degree student, there is no limit on the number of Chang School courses that you may register restrictions may apply if you are working towards a degree and Chang School certificate.
