Click Send a Frown. The Feedback pane opens on the right side of the PowerPoint window. Describe the problem, and then please select the Include diagnostic and usage data box. Sending diagnostic data to the Office product team allows it to analyze the context in which your problem has occurred.

If PowerPoint is in use by another process, this information will be displayed in the horizontal status bar at the bottom of the screen. It took a while but now I am able to print preview and print from Excel and Word. After updating Office I can still print. I can't believe this. I open files just to print preview.

Click Uninstall , and then follow the on-screen instructions to remove your HP product. Open the folder where the software file saved usually Downloads , double-click the file, and then follow the on-screen instructions to run the utility and remove any print drivers on your computer. Step three: Install the latest software from the HP website.
Turn on the printer. If your printer is connected to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer. Sorry for late reply i was not at work. I have a default set excel is still throwing error. Interestingly winword , powerpoint and publisher are working fine.
I am able to print from all office applications except Excel. Probably excel behaves differently from other office applications. Probably it is a bug in excel.
